About Course

In this course you’ll learn the basics to filming and film editing. In the first week you will learn various concepts about filming with tips for smoother shots and the more important rules for framing. In the second week you’ll learn how to edit the movies you just filmed using two of the main softwares used by the industry (Premiere and After Effects from Adobe).

This content is presented by Ricardo Gonçalves who is finishing his Multimedia Engineering degree in ISTEC (and coordinated by Paulo Duarte Branco). He has a degree in Virtualization and Cloud Computing from ISTEC. He also has training in Digital Marketing from the University of S. Paulo – Brazil. He has experience in directing and editing videos in the context of academic portfolio. Ricardo was a volunteer at the Web Summit – Lisbon and he is an animator of MarCha Portugal Associação Juvenil in the development of activities for the valorization of European values that promote respect, namely, for human dignity and equality between men and women. Submitted an article to a scientific journal.
